Prices and payment
The final price, VAT, when you are charged.
Is the price shown really the final price?
Yes. The total, VAT included, is confirmed to you before you confirm the booking, and no service, administration or platform fee is added at the moment of payment. Only one thing can change it: if the provider had to use more materials or more time than planned, they can add additional charges at the end of the job, once they have agreed it with you. Nothing is added without your agreement. The full breakdown is public.
Why “starting from” rather than a single price?
Because every provider sets their own rate, and because a job depends on the area, the duration and the extras. The “starting from” shown on the site is the lowest rate actually offered in Geneva for that service. The rate of the provider you choose is on their profile, and the total is confirmed to you before you commit. See the rates, service by service.
When am I charged?
The amount is held at the moment of booking, then released to the provider once the service has been carried out. You never pay blind, and the provider knows they will be paid.
What happens if the job takes longer than expected?
Nothing is charged without your agreement. If the provider sees on site that more time or more materials are needed, they tell you and you decide together: carry on, at the agreed rate, or stop there. Whatever you agree on is added at the end of the job, as additional charges.
Does Swigo take a commission on my payment?
Swigo takes 23% of the amount of the service, of which 3% is payment fees. That share comes out of what the provider earns, it is not added to your bill: clients pay no service fee at all.
